Model equations

The wave height is modelled by the equation:

\[ \eta = \frac{a}{\tan (0.5 m (a + h))} \frac{\sin (m z)}{\cos (m z) + \cosh (m x) } \]

where:

\( h \) = water depth
\( a \) = wave amplitude
\( m \) = constant coefficient
