The wave height is modelled by the equation:

where:
\( h \) | = | water depth |
\( E_j \) | = | Fourrier coefficients of the computed free surface |
\( k \) | = | wave number |
\( \omega \) | = | angular frequency |
\( \phi \) | = | phase shift |
\( t \) | = | time |
