Our commitment to open source
SGI and the OpenFOAM Team are committed to open source software, establishing the OpenFOAM Foundation to manage and promote OpenFOAM. Through its bylaws, it formalises the commitment, begun by OpenCFD in 2004, to ensure OpenFOAM will always be free open source only. SGI contributes the code developments and maintenance work of the OpenFOAM Team to the Foundation.
